Don't Give Up

Our lives can be hard, and sometimes pain is all we feel

But you must remember, life is more than what it seems

We may feel like giving up, but no one should take their life

For if you do, you'll miss the beauty of life

It will be hard, the road may feel long

But take it one step at a time and you'll find you are strong

You are not alone, even when you feel like you are

There are people who love and care for you, no matter how far

Take a deep breath, and look around

Find something that fills you with joy, and make it your sound

Reach out to someone, don't keep your feelings inside

It's okay to feel scared, it's okay to cry

Remember that life is precious, and here for a short time

It's a journey that can be filled with joy and peace, if you'll take the time

So don't ever give in, to thoughts of despair

There's too much beauty, in the world out there

Take each day as it comes, and don't forget to dream

You'll find the strength to keep going, and that's what makes it seem.
